WINERY

Perched on a hilltop at an elevation of 1,200 feet, protected from the cold winds by the Maritime Alps, the vineyard extends over a five- hectare area. Vines are trained with the cane pruning method, the typical pruning technique for the Rossese in this region, a local vine. This grape variety thrives especially well on calcareous and rocky soil (hence the name Rossese/rocky).

Wines are aged in oak-and-steel barrels and the production totals approximately 40,000 bottles for year. Mr. Federico Curtaz is in charge both as wine grower and as wine maker. The four grape varieties growninthevineyardare: Rossese,Vermentino,SyrahandTouriga and produces ruby red, purplish wines, with a distinctive, intense yet delicate aroma.
