CELLAR

Perched on a hilltop at an elevation of 1,200 feet, protected from the cold winds by the Maritime Alps, the vineyard extends over a five hectare area. Vines are trained with the cane pruning mathod, the typical pruning technique for the Rossese in this region, a local vine. This grape variety thrives especially well on calcareous and rocky soil.

Wines are aged in oak- and steel barrels and the production totals approximately 40,000 bottles for year. Mr Federico Curtaz is in charge both as wine grower and as wine maker. The four grape varieties grown in the vineyard are: Rossese, Vermentino, Syrah and Touriga and produces ruby red, purplish wines, with a distinctive, intense yet delicate aroma.
